  • Do you offer free painting estimates?

    Yes! We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all interior and exterior painting projects. Just contact us to schedule a convenient time for an onsite visit.

  • Are you licensed and insured as a painting contractor in Colorado?

    We are fully insured. Our five-million-dollar policy protects you and your property. All of our employees are fully covered by a Workman’s Compensation Policy. This protects you from any liability in case any worker gets hurt while working on your job. We are happy to provide you with certificates of insurance for your peace of mind.

  • What paint brands do you use?

    We provide the best paint; it complements the best labor. Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore are our GO-TO suppliers for your project. Our paint lasts and lasts.

  • How long does a typical house painting project take?

    Most residential painting projects in Boulder take between 2 to 5 days, depending on the size of the home and scope of work. We'll provide a clear timeline during your estimate.

  • Do I need to be home during the painting project?

    Not necessarily. Many of our clients prefer to go about their day while we handle the job. We’ll keep you updated and ensure your property is secure.

  • What’s the best time of year to paint the exterior of a home in Boulder?

    Spring through early fall is ideal due to more stable weather. However, we closely monitor Boulder’s climate and can advise on the best timing.

  • Can you help with choosing paint colors?

    Yes! We offer color consultation services to help you pick the perfect palette for your space, whether you're updating your home or business.

    We usually do most jobs with two to three journeymen painters. If the job is large and needs to be done quickly, we can add more crews to any job.

  • Are you available to work on weekends?

    Sure. We schedule around your schedule. Weekend work is sometimes best for businesses.

  • Do you offer a warranty?

    Yes, our five-year warranty stands above the rest. We have painted thousands of homes and been here for over sixty years.

  • What if I want to change the job once it begins?

    Change happens! If you’d like to add some work or pick a new color, we will provide you with an accurate estimate for your approval right away.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    We do not charge a deposit. You don’t pay for anything until the work is done and you are completely satisfied.

  • When and how do I pay you?

    It’s simple at JBP. You pay us when you are satisfied with the work. Simple secure on-line payments, checks or credit cards all work fine. We pass on a 3.5% bank processing fee for credit card payments.
